Want More Money To Fuel Your Magic: The Gathering Addi... Er.. Hobby?

If you've been playing Magic: The Gathering, you probably know how expensive it can get. With Type 2, the highest demand cards can definitely lighten your wallet. With Vintage, the top power cards can wipe out your back account, or max out your credit card, or burn holes in your pocket.

What can you do to afford all these new cards that keep coming out, or get those absurdly powerful cards that everyone who's competitive uses (besides constantly asking your friends for money)?

One option is to get a job. In a typical job, you trade time for money. That's pretty simple, right? Go find a job you like and do it. With that extra money, you could afford some more expensive cards.

However, having a job could possibly cut into some of your Magic playing time. The hours might not be that great, or they could be longer than you want. Your hours could conflict with competitions or gatherings where you normally play.

Another option is to get started in your own business. You have way more control doing this and much more freedom (both time and money). You have the freedom to set your own hours, and the money you make is a results of your efforts. It's not just trading time for money. You can actually leverage the time of others to help you make money (and help them make money).
