Magic: The Gathering DecksGoblin DeckAlthough this deck is not Standard, its REAL fun to play. Creatures [24] [4] Goblin Lackey [4] Goblin Marshall [4] Goblin King [2] Goblin Matron [4] Goblin Patrol [4] Mogg Fanatic [2] Mogg Flunkies Other [18] [4] Shock [4] Lightning Bolt [4] Fireblast [4] Goblin Grenade [2] Winter Orb Lands [20] [16] Mountain [3] Wasteland [1] Keldon Necropolis Total = 62 Some cards are debatable, such as Winter Orb (it might be a better sideboard card), but in my current playtesting, but it has proven to shut down other decks once you get out your creatures, but usually games don't last that long with this deck. Keldon Necropolis (might want to replace it for a Rath's edge) is slow, but if the game lasts longer that usual, or against mirror matches where you're trading creatures aggresively, Winter Orb and Keldon Necropolis can really be useful. Goblin Marshall is slow to get out, but you're not supposed to bring them out that way, instead, bring them out with Lackeys, so you can have 4 1/1 tokens on the third turn. The Lackeys are real important for bringing out your creatures, so you can save your mana for burn. Use the burn to remove any potentional blockers so you can deal big damage each turn, especally with the Goblin King. Combine that with numerous 1/1 tokens brought out with the Marshalls, and you have a large swarm of creatures. The Matrons may seem a strange choice, but its searching ability has proven very useful in getting a Lackey or Marshall at the right time. I use to have Goblin Gardeners, and a Gardener+Goblin Grenade combo was great, but they proved too slow, even with Lackeys, plus I wanted to concentrate more on burn rather than ponza, so they went out for Mogg Fanatics. The Patrols and Flunkies are just your average quick casting Goblin grunts. I was thinking of addind Cursed Scroll, but it might be too slow. Tell me what you think, and have fun! Goblin_King
