I like taking an old deck concept and trying to make it better by adding
cards from new sets. This is such a deck. I took the old Lure/Basilisk combo
and built a deck around it with some new cards. Hope you like it.

Comments: The trick to a Lure/Basilisk combo deck was always getting that
Lure when you needed it. Now, I have 4 Lure, 3 Alluring Scent, and 3 Tempting
Licid. Destructive Urge punishes the defender if he does not block the
basilisk, and so is almost as good as Lure. Also, I can't really think of any
other creature as intimidating as a basilisk- if it attacks, something is
going to die, if it blocks, something is going to die. This deck has 16
Basilisks (or basilisk like creatures.) Of, course, the ultimate goal, is to
put Lure on the basilisk creature, then attack- destroying all defense in the
process. With this deck, you should never need for defense. Only heavy direct
damage decks really hurt this deck and Counterspell decks are tough.
