How the deck works:
This is largely a multiplayer deck. The archers, ballistae, etc are the
fun part of the deck. In multiplayer you become a major factor in how
combat goes, since you can shoot blockers or attackers, and with the
healers and medics you can save what you want to.
The watchdogs and orim's prayers effectively can give incoming creatures
a -5 to their power and it's so much fun to watch someone attack you and
then have more life than you started with and have them down several key
creatures. The damage prevention also means protection from white
creatures won't bother you too much.
There are two major ways to win with this deck. Shoot down opposing
flyers and use the angels, or use the rods of ruin. You can also just
send in a couple of creatures and shoot down blockers till you get
through, but that is just a pain sometimes.
When I play this deck I always play "peace keeper" and wait for someone
to get aggressive, and just blow up (okay I just perforate with arrows
and sharp telephone poles) whatever attacks and smack the attacker with
an angel or a rod blast and tell them to behave. People REALLY
appreciate that bit of advice;)
