Magic: The Gathering Guildpact Combos

Here are some Magic: The Gathering Guildpact combos I came up with.

Glint-Eye Nephilim / Invoke The Firemind + Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind
Play the legendary Niv-Mizzet Firemind, then Invoke the Firemind. Choose to draw X cards. Since Niv-Mizzet is out each draw will trigger its poke ability. Alternatively, you could use Glint-eye Nephilim to draw cards. This works best if you can find some way to pump him up so you draw more cards when Glint-Eye Nephilim deals damage to a player.

Culling Sun + Ghostway
Aside from having a creatureless deck or not playing creatures, here's a simple way to avoid the symmetrical effect of Culling Sun. Play Culling Sun, then respond with Ghostway, so your creatures disappear for a turn.

Ghostway + Sky Swallower
The Sky Swallower wants to give all your creatures away (and everything else too). But you can keep your creatures. Play a Ghostway to put your creatures in the realm of nowhere and save them from the SKy Swallower.

Gigadrowse + Ink-Treader Nephilim
When you feel the need to tap permanents, just play Gigadrowse and Replicate it for each other permanent you want to tap. Now, maybe you want to tap all permanents at the beginning of your opponent's upkeep. In that case, just Gigadrowse your Ink-Treader Nephilim and it will magically do the job for you.

Angel of Despair + Debtors' Knell + Ghost Council of Orzhova
Make your Ghost Council virtually unkillable! Sac a creature (hint: Angel of Despair) to activate Ghost Council's ability, and be able to bring it back! If you brought back the Angel, let your opponent wave goodbye to a permanent! Or you can bring back one of your opponent's creatures.

Guildpact + other sets combos

Teysa, Orzhov Scion
Teysa, Orzhov Scion + Twilight Drover
Let's say another black creature you control is put into a graveyard from play. This triggers Teysa's ability, giving you a 1/1 white token with flying. If the token leaves play, Twilight Drover gets a +1/+1 counter. Now activate Twilight Drover's ability to put two 1/1 white tokens with flying into play. Try to get up to three white tokens. Then you can activate Teysa's ability to sac three white creatures to remove target creature from the game. Since three tokens left play, Twilight Drover gets three +1/+1 counters. With even more counters, you can create more tokens and keep repeating the process.

Desperate Ritual + Lava Spike + Izzet Guildmage
1) Play Lava Spike (R)
2) Splice on Desperate Ritual (1R)
3) Activate Izzet Guildmage's ability with the three mana that Desperate Ritual produced.
4) Rinse and repeat.

Voila! Instant win, quite easily accomplished on turn 3.

Ghost Council of Orzhova + Golgari Germination
Sac a nontoken creature when you want to activate Ghost Council's ability (to save him from destruction perhaps). This will give you a Saproling token from the Golgari Germination.

Angel of Despair + Astral Slide
Ya, you can combo Astral Slide with any 'comes into play' creature. But why not do it with the Angel of Despair, so you can destroy target permanent! You could start destroying lands, creatures, and anything else that gets in your way. And all you have to do is cycle to slide to destroy.

Angel of Despair + Dragon Mask
With Dragon Mask, you can boost your Angel up to 7/7 and then destroy a permanent on the next turn. The thing is, you have to pay 7 mana to play the Angel again.

Bioplasm + Sensei's Divining Top
Champions + Guildpact combo: Use Sensei's Divining Top to maximize your chances of giving a powerful creature for your Bioplasm to feed on. If you want to get rid of one of the top three cards of your library, stack that card on top with the Top. Then attack with Bioplasm to remove it from the game.

Cerebral Vortex + Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Prosperity
Once you have Niv-Mizzet out, play Prosperity. This will activate your Niv-Mizzet X times, so can spread X damage around your opponent and/or his creatures. Now you'll top it off with Cerebral Vortex, targeting your opponent. Don't target yourself, unless you want to take at least X + 2 damage! When the Vortex resolves, he'll draw two cards, then take damage (2 from Vortex + X from Prosperity + any other cards drawn that turn)

Djinn Illuminatus + Glimpse the Unthinkable
2 mana to mill 10 cards. How about 4 mana to mill 20? 6 mana to mill 30? 8 mana to mill 40? 10 mana to mill 50? 20 mana to mill 100?!? And so on...

Blistering Firecat + Debtors' Knell
What could be more scary than facing a Blistering Firecat that quickly hits you for 7 damage? Well, what if it comes back every time it's your turn? Similarly, you could continually bring back a Ball Lightning to overwhelm your opponent.

Curiosity + Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind
Draw a card, deal damage to opponent, draw a card, deal damage to opponent, and repeat as needed (until your opponent is burned).

Breath of Fury + Yore-Tiller Nephilim + other creatures
A Guildpact/Ravnica combo: attach Breath of Fury to a creature other than the Nephilim. Now, if you can get through, you can keep getting additional combat phases. The enchanted creature will be sacrificed but Yore-Tiller Nephilim will keep bringing them back.

Aether Mutation + Ink-Treader Nephilim
This has the same effect as Evacuation ie. all creatures get returned. But there's a twist. You get X 1/1 Saproling tokens, where X is the sum of all of the creatures' converted mana costs! How's that for a Saproling infestation?

Izzet Guildmage + Lightning Bolt / Volcanic Hammer
Simply pay 15 to 18 mana to copy Volcanic Hammer 5 or 6 times with Izzet Guildmage. For instant speed, go with Lightning Bolt.
