Magic: The Gathering Time Spiral Combos
Here are some Magic: The Gathering Time Spiral combos I came up with.
Celestial Crusader +
Cloudchaser Kestrel +
Ivory Giant
+
Pentarch Paladin
A few cards you can use to take advantage of the Cloudchaser's white-making ability.
With the Celestial Crusader, you can pump up your non-white creatures by making them
white. With the Ivory Giant, you can prevent your non-white creatures from being tapped
when the Ivory Giant comes into play. With the Pentarch Paladin, choose white as your
colour of destruction. Now you can destroy non-white permanents by whitening them.
Coal Stoker +
Flowstone Channeler
This is a nice and easy combination to use in drafts since it involves two commons. Play
the Coal Stoker from your hand, add RRR, and use it to play Flowstone Channeler.
Firemaw Kavu +
Momentary Blink
Here's your chance to get more mileage out of your Firemaw Kavu (like it needs more).
Blink your Kavu to trigger its leaves play ability and comes into play ability, which
deals 4 damage and then 2 damage.
Draining Whelk +
Momentary Blink
Surprise your opponent by countering another spell with your Draining Whelk. You
may want to wait until he plays something big. Then Blink your Whelk to counter
it and make your Whelk one big blue flyer.
Lightning Axe +
Stuffy Doll
If you want to burn your opponent instead of burning his creatures, Axe
your indestructible Stuffy Doll.
Kher Keep +
Liege of the Pit
Need some bait for Liege of the Pit? Feed it a 0/1 Kobold every turn for 2 mana.
Dissension + other sets combos
Pariah +
Stuffy Doll
Enchant Stuffy Doll with Pariah. All damage that would be dealt to you is dealt to
Stuffy Doll instead, which effectively makes you a Stuffy Doll.
Magus of the Mirror +
Yawgmoth's Bargain
Turn all that life payment for drawing cards into an advantage! Simply activate the
Magus of the Mirror's ability to exchange life totals. You could even draw more cards
from the Bargain if your opponent had a life total greater than one.
